Our Story
Being established in 2019, Egmont Ice is known for an unparalleled commitment to our local community. It’s this focus on "creating local, serving local" that has provided the groundwork for us to start the business we are today.
We believe that, when producing party ice with water available to everyone in Taranaki, the community should always benefit with us. That means that a portion of our revenue will go back to local community groups that make a positive impact in people's lives every day.

A portion of Egmont Ice revenue will be given to a different local charity each month. The next few months we will be supporting:
Taranaki Retreat
Taranaki Retreat is a suicide prevention initiative that provides a 'Space to Breathe' for individuals or whānau going through tough times. They are here in Taranaki to help everyone and anyone. Regardless of race, sexuality, gender identity, class, culture, age or spirituality—anyone that needs a space to breathe, finds a place here.
Te Puna Trust
Nurture Taranaki helps prepare and upskill first time parents. They provide specific parenting education, empowerment and support to help create an optimum home environment for baby. The service is offered to first time pregnant women, where social and family circumstances challenges the health and well-being of their children.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters Taranaki
Big Brothers, Big Sisters creates one-to-one, long-term, consistent relationships between caring adult volunteers and tamariki, creating a positive impact on the lives of whanau and tamariki.
Little Fighters Trust
The Little Fighters are a group of Taranaki people passionate about supporting those in need in their community.
They offer support to families who have a child with a life threatening illness, or where a parent has a life threatening illness that affects the child or children, whether it be financial or non-monetary services, they focus their assistance where needed to each family.
Life Education Trust Taranaki
Life Education Trust Taranaki has been successfully delivering the Life Education programme to empower children to make healthy choices.
In 2018 they visited 84 schools, taught 1,128 lessons and saw 12,256 children.
